Babies Program
Gentle beginnings that nurture trust, comfort and early development
At Early Foundation Childcare Center, our Nursery Program provides a calm, caring and responsive environment where your child feels safe, supported and understood. These early months are where lifelong learning begins, through connection, sensory exploration, and warm, attuned relationships.
We follow a Montessori-inspired, child-led approach while honouring each baby’s natural routine for feeding, sleeping and play.
A Day in Our Babies Room
Every moment is purposeful, nurturing and developmentally aligned.
Your baby’s day includes:
Individualised routines
We follow your child’s home rhythm for sleep, bottles, meals and comfort — ensuring consistency and security.
Key educator relationships
Each baby is assigned a primary educator who builds deep emotional connection and understanding of your child’s cues and needs.
Sensory exploration
Soft textures, natural materials, music, light play and tummy-time activities stimulate healthy brain development.
Early communication & language
Educators speak gently, model language, read stories and use songs to support early speech and recognition.
Music & movement
Daily rhythm time, gentle stretching, floor play and responsive movement help develop strength and coordination.
Safe sleep environment
Our cot room is calm, dimly lit and supervised at all times. Sleep practices strictly follow ACECQA guidelines.

While babies learn through play and interaction, our program supports key developmental foundations:

Your Baby’s Journal & Updates
Families receive ongoing communication:
